Recognition in 2011

The American Graphic Design Awards annual showed up this week and I had 3 projects chosen this year: my A Little Redbird Told Me and Ewing Cultural Center brochures, both in the brochures and collateral category, and the 2010 College of Business Magazine in the publications category.

The American Graphic Design Awards is a four decade-old flagship competition that honors outstanding design work in 23 categories from print and packaging to internet and interactive design. More than 15,000 entries are received each year. This is the third year in a row that my work has been awarded and published in the design annual, and it’s an honor.

In addition, back in February I was awarded a silver regional ADDY Award for photography for our ACTIVATE campaign to promote Campus Recreation, and more recently received 2 silver CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) Design Awards for my Get in the Game logo and the previously mentioned Ewing Cultural Center brochure.
